Himalayan Diaries: A photo journey

Himachal is nothing but a poetry, sung by the snow clad mountains, gurgling Beas river, quaint monasteries, picturesque landscapes and the most unpretentious natives. The prestine beauty just wont let your hands go off your camera.

You wake up to the sun peeking down from the daunting Himalays. The majesty of the mountains make you realize how elfin we are in the master plan of nature. The air we breathe in the city is so claustrophobic, and how we dont realise that the best things in life are not just 'things' but also free.

They make you wonder in awe how a civilization not only survives in unnatural circumstances, but also lives in pure bliss. The chilly nights and numbing days are the least of their worries. Its the bloom of the apple orchards which they treasure. They don't want a single tourist to return complaining. Which is so symbolic to the place they belong to.

Throughout the drive from Shimla to Manali, accompanies the Beas river. It follows you wherever you go, replete with playful noises. A gentle reminder, that you are never alone in the Land of Gods. The horse ride in 5 feet snow makes the inaccessible, accessible. Where all that is available is a hot cup of maggi. None is complaining.

The quintessential paragliding is nothing less than a heavenly experience, when your senses sink is nothing but the artistry of nature. A picture etched in your memories to last a lifetime.
Shimla and Manali is what I could cover in an escapade away from the city life and all that I brought back home was reverence to the ostentatious nature and captivating photographs.
